Dropkick Murphys return to the clubs for 2022 St. Patrick’s Day tour

Primary Talent

After two years years of livestreams, Dropkick Murphys are headed back to the clubs for St. Patrick’s Day 2022. The Celtic-punk band today (November 9) unveiled their 2022 St. Patrick’s Day American Tour, and it features three nights at Boston’s House of Blues and a tour closing show at Bowery Boston’s new room, Roadrunner in Brighton.

This marks the return of the Dropkicks to music venues for the Irish holiday, after they performed livestreams in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 22-date tour kicks off February 21 in Reading, and Cleveland, Chicago, Austin, and other cities along the way, including a date March 12 at Shamrock Fest in Washington, D.C. The Dropkicks play State Theater in Portland on March 15 before lining up a holy hat trick of gigs on Lansdowne at House of Blues: March 17 for St. Patrick’s Day, as well as March 18 and 19. They close things out with a March 20 gig at Roadrunner, the city’s newest venue that’s set to open early next year.

The Bombpops and The Rumjacks will be joining the Dropkicks on this tour, and Jim Lindberg of Pennywise is on board for the Roadrunner date. All the dates are on the flyer.

Tickets go on sale Friday (November 12) at 10 a.m. local time, and find more info below and at DropkickMurphys.com/tour.
