Band in the USA: Marc Rebillet loops back around for a fall tour

Amazon Music

As we mentioned a few weeks ago when we hyped his new talk show, it’s been a real treat to witness the rise of Marc Rebillet — especially since this isn’t exactly the age of the success story. The Texas-born improvisational musician and bona-fide sex magnet has gone from performing wacky electro-pop songs about fucking to bemused brewery crowds to appearing on big-ticket festivals, and seems like the one and only thing our divided society can come together and agree on. The man is legit and deserves all the things.

Now that he’s wrapped up We’ve Got Company, which was produced by Franki Chan’s creative agency IHEARTCOMIX in partnership with Amazon Music, Rebillet is taking his talents out on the road. After a few festival gigs this summer (Badlands Music Festival, HARD, Life is Beautiful, Music Midtown), Rebillet will tour North America in the fall, and included is an October 18 show at Roadrunner.

Last time “Loop Daddy” was in town, Oompa jumped up on stage at Royale and freestyled, so who knows what can happen this time around. Just endless possibilities, really, and they’re all pretty great.

For the uninitiated, the charismatic Rebillet is a one-man improv dynamo, armed with a keyboard, loop station, and a silk robe, creating unique live music experiences where no two shows are the same. Tickets to all venue shows, including the Boston gig, go on sale Friday (June 17) at noon EDT.

Get all the dates below, but not before you check video of the iconic duo of Oompa and Rebillet sassing up the Theatre District below.
