There are only so many ways we can tell you why you should go see any given comedian when they come through town — but when it comes to a comic at the caliber of the one and only Greg Fitzsimmons, we’ll always find a nice, new way to tell you what’s good.
With that being said, the longtime comedy fan favorite makes his way back to the city this weekend for a trifecta of comedic excellence starting on Friday (May 29) at Laugh Boston. While you can always catch him at the mic in a number of high-profile podcasts, as well as his own Fitzdog Radio handle, the Boston University alum and foot soldier of the late ‘80s Boston comedy boom also released his most recent stand-up special, You Know Me, in 2024.
So, if you need to do any pregame prep before this weekend, Fitzsimmons has you covered by way of expertly-crafted jokes and stories that are, at times, both totally relatable and utterly unbelievable.
