Los Angeles rock trio Twin XL have been touring across the country this summer playing with friends lovelytheband, IDKHOW, and Misterwives, and headlining shows in several cities. Last night (August 1), they packed out Pub Rock, a small club in a strip mall in Scottsdale, and reminisced on spending much of their own lives camped out at strip malls waiting for shows. Phoenix locals The Brightside opened up the evening with energy and enthusiasm, followed by Tempe natives Dad?. In direct support for the evening was Arizona’s own cinematic pop project, Wanderer.
