We’re in that weird stretch of the year where holidays feel too far apart, but Sam Jay is coming back home this weekend to help keep us in good spirits nonetheless.
Making her way back to The Wilbur on Saturday (May 2) for a night on home turf, the Dorchester native marks her return with a fresh run of jokes and stories that we can all get behind. As you’ll find in her most recent recordings, like her HBO special Salute Me or Shoot Me and the Netflix Roast of Tom Brady, Jay doesn’t come through to mess around — but she does come through to have a good time.
Although it hasn’t become an official annual occurrence, it’s always a special occasion when Jay gets back to Boston, so we will gladly take it whenever we can.
SAM JAY :: Saturday, May 2 at The Wilbur Theatre, 246 Tremont St. in Boston :: 6 p.m., $37 to $55 :: Tickets and event Info
