Last week we unveiled the lineup for Boston & Beyond 2016, our collaborative project with Berklee College of Music that brings the best in new music to the stage and your earholes. Fresh off a rousing CMJ party last fall, we're back at it with another free South-By-Southwest party later this month, March 17 at Brush Square Park's West Tent, from noon to 6 p.m., located next to the Austin Convention Center. And the lineup features seven of your new favorite bands, duos, and projects: Seattle guitar-rock band Great Grandpa, Los Angeles indie upstarts IAN, Allston garage rock trio Lady Pills (selected by Heavy Rotation Records), electronic-pop duo mar | co, psych-pop project Plastic Waves, riff-mad Brooklyn rock quintet Rann, and the latest and final addition, alt-pop wizard M + E.
