When we scanned through the FADER FORT lineup at SXSW 2015 earlier in the week, we couldn’t help but note those glaring “special guest” slots in the Friday and Saturday slate. Previous unannounced guests in recent years included an Afghan Whigs and Usher collaboration, Lil’ B, and Justin Vernon’s old band DeYarmond Edison. The secret 2015 revelations are still yet to come, but last night in the Fort, Mike Will Made-It gave some five-star treatment to the promise of his “…And Friends” billing.
Welcome to Austin, Miley Cyrus.
Decked out in a sparkly camp dress/jacket combo, and armed with a squirt gun, and boasting a nose that caught the tent’s familiar stench of marijuana, Cyrus busted out a few songs Thursday night, including Bangerz jam “We Can’t Stop” and her 2013 collab with Mike Will Made-It, “23.”
As Hollywood Reporter notes, MyCy also joined fellow guests Rae Sremmurd on “Throw Sum Mo.”
