Quite a bit has gone on in the world of Whitney Cummings since the last time she was in Boston, but the time has finally come for her to bring her brand new bundle of jokes and stories into the world — and more importantly, to Boston.
As announced earlier this week, the seasoned comedy vet and brand new mom will be hitting the road for her first full tour since giving birth to her first child, and will be making her way to The Wilbur on November 22 as part of her Big Baby Tour. While she has continued to build her audience through her stand-up and her wildly successful Good For You podcast, she also released her most recent special, Mouthy, on OnlyFans TV in 2023. She’s also garnered some acting credits since her last trek to Boston, with roles in films like Foo Fighters’ slasher comedy Studio 666 and the Machine Gun Kelly-led Good Mourning.
Just a few miles north of the Theatre District, Ben Schwartz is returning to Medford’s Chevalier Theatre on September 13. Since he last brought his elite improv work to Medford, Schwartz has been featured in a number of films and TV shows, including Renfield, Die Hart, The Muppets Mayhem and has since signed on to reprise his role in the Sonic The Hedgehog film franchise with the 2024 spin-off Knuckles.
Also heading to Medford, the Last Podcast On The Left crew makes their own triumphant return to the Chevalier stage on October 16 as part of their upcoming JK Ultra Tour, as hosts Marcus Parks and Henry Zebrowski delve into the dark, twisted and unbelievable with their own dark, twisted and unbelievable perspectives.
Kevin James will also be sticking around The Chevalier for a few more hours on May 18, as he has added a 4:30 p.m. matinee show to his formerly sold-out stop in Medford.
