Bob Vylan

We jumped when Bob Vylan crashed American last year and played Big Night Live with Amyl and The Sniffers. Now, the English grime, punk, and hip-hop duo take center stage with a highly anticipated headline show at Brighton Music Hall in Allston on May 12. Yeah, that’s real soon, but that kind of urgency is understandable for one of the more incendiary acts coming out of the United Kingdom right now. As we told you back in 2020, a lot of the things they rage against are echoed by problems we have right here at home. Rhyme the name with “Bob Dylan” and check out the ferocious “We Live Here” for a small sample. Tickets go on sale Wednesday (March 15) at 10 a.m. local time.

Y’all Out Boy

With the success of all the various emo nights filling bars and clubs with sing-along glee, it was only a matter of time before bands got in on the fun. Austin’s Y’all Out Boy bring the tears to the live stage, rolling out an arsenal of familiar classics from Green Day, My Chemical Romance, Taking Back Sunday, and everyone else you once put on a sad-face playlist. They bring the pain (but in a good way, promise!) to The Paradise Rock Club on June 3, and tickets go on sale Wednesday (March 15) at 10 a.m. local time.
