His nickname may suggest otherwise, but Aaron ‘Tiny’ Smith is about to check off a big milestone in his comedy career.
As announced on Tuesday (January 3), the comedian and punk rocker will be marking a first in his comedy career within the first quarter of 2023, as the date has been set to record his debut stand-up album at Jamaica Plain’s Midway Cafe on March 3. Working alongside Hey Now Productions to bring the project to life, the show will be hosted by Rob Crean, with additional sets by Angela Sawyer and Jack Hall before the evening’s main event.
In addition to his comedy, which places him on stages all over the area and other spots all over the country in festivals and working with talents like Rosebud Baker, Myq Kaplan, Eric Andre, Eugene Mirman and more, Smith has also accumulated quite a following with his Tiny Halls podcast. His career also stretches into the punk realm, as he served as the longtime frontman for MA-based band The Thickness.
