Boston Thriving: Johan Lenox takes the stage on ‘The Late Show’

Stephen Colbert said #LateShowMeMusic, and Johan Lenox stepped right up.

The Massachusetts singer, arranger, and producer is the latest musician to appear on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, performing his new song “No One Gets Me” for the January 28 episode. The pre-recorded performance flexes Johan’s string arrangements as part of the program’s #LateShowMeMusic series, which has previously featured acts like Brandi Carlile, Dave Matthews, Mac DeMarco, The War on Drugs, Middle Kids, and Manchester Orchestra.

Lenox’s Late Night appearance arrives ahead his his debut pop album WDYWTBWYGU, due out March 11. While you try to figure out that abbreviation, check out his performance — and the original version of the track, featuring rapper RMR — below.
