Via band

Anyone who has heard Zip-Tie Handcuffs knows just how massive the Boston band sounds, both on record and live on stage. Now, viewers of Showtime’s longtime dramedy Shameless are gonna be clued to their beautiful noise in as well.

The 2015 Rock And Roll Rumble winners will have barnburner track “Outta My Head,” one of many standout bangers on their 2016 fireball album Headspace, featured on this week’s fifth episode, which airs Sunday night at 9 p.m. local time. It’ll blare out of your home speakers at some point during the William H. Macy-starring show, currently in its 10th season.

According to the band, a sync agent based out of Los Angeles reached out to the Zip-Tie dudes, and as a fan of the group, pitched them on getting the song heard on the show.

“We are very stoked and honored to have our music in such a rad show!” they tell Vanyaland. “It’s actually [guitarist/vocalist] Matt [Ford]’s favorite show, which makes it even more awesome.”
