Photo Gallery: Sleater-Kinney, Joseph Keckler live in Boston

Editor's Note: It seemed like Sleater-Kinney's return to Boston was one of those shows we've had circled on the calendar for ages. In January the iconic band announced a new collaboration with St. Vincent, and in May, we heard their planned album's lead single, "Hurry On Home". The song came equipped with news of a fall tour, and set the tone for some interesting events that followed, like the departure of longtime drummer Janet Weiss and the August release of The Center Won't Hold. Last night (October 29), Sleater-Kinney finally arrived, new touring drummer Angie Boylan in tow, and Vanyaland's Ben Stas was on Lansdowne Street to document it. Check out his full gallery below, including shots of opener Joseph Keckler, and revisit our interview with Carrie Brownstein after the jump.
