Liam Gallagher has built a nice bit of buzz heading towards the September 20 release of sophomore solo album Why Me? Why Not … so naturally, here’s his brother with news of a new Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds EP set for release a week later, September 27.
The EP is called This Is The Place, it’s the immediate follow up to June’s Black Star Dancing EP, and the rather mystical, groove-laden title track can be heard below.
It’s actually pretty good!
Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, meanwhile, come stateside for 16 shows with the Smashing Pumpkins this summer, with things kicking off August 8 in New Jersey and wrapping August 31 in Mountain View, California. There’s no New England date.
