Demo Tape Fest puts bands and brews back on ‘Exhibit’ in Framingham

Next weekend, Exhibit ‘A’ Brewing Company hosts the Central Massachusetts equivalent of HarpoonFest: Demo Tape Fest, an all-day music and brews bash.

Hosted from the back parking lot of Exhibit ‘A’ in Framingham, the all-ages fest combines live music from New England bands with food truck fare and beers on June 22.

Weakened Friends headline the event, with support from Cherry Pit, Junior Classics, Chris Brokaw Band, Fire in the Field, John Powhida International Airport, DJ J-Wall, and the School of Rock Natick house band.

With regards to new brews, Exhibit ‘A’ will offer three new “demo tapes” – their test batch series – in addition to their main beers and their Liquid Tender IPA. StrEAT Food Rx will serve up fresh tacos, bowls, salads, and sliders, and the T.C. Scoops ice cream truck rolls up to the festivities at 6:30 p.m.

As a special nod to Pride month, proceeds from both ticket sales and Liquid Tender IPA sales will be donated OUT MetroWest, a non-profit organization that aims to assist and support LGBTQ+ youth.

“We love music and we love beer. Putting them together for a big backyard party just seems like the right thing to do,” says a statement from Exhibit ‘A’ Brewing Company. “And when we can raise money for a great organization like OUT MetroWest, it’s even better!”
