Outside of their directorial work, Avengers: Endgame directors Anthony and Joe Russo are actually pretty big producers in Hollywood at the moment. Case in point: the new film 21 Bridges from STXFilms, which stars Chadwick Boseman (who you might remember as Jackie Robinson, James Brown, Thurgood Marshall, or Black Panther, depending on what kind of mega-nerd that you are) as a cop hunting a pair of cop-killers in a locked-down Manhattan. STX dropped a trailer for the film on Thursday, presumably to strike that name-brand recognition iron while it’s at its hottest, and honestly? We’re pretty compelled by it. More on that in a second.

Take a look at the trailer:

So, 21 Bridges is the feature directorial debut of longtime television director Brian Kirk, who has helmed episodes of Game of Thrones, The Tudors, Luck, and plenty of other shows that you’ve probably binged-watched. We’re mainly excited for the cast, which, aside from Boseman, features the likes of Keith David, J.K. Simmons, If Beale Street Could Talk‘s Stephan James, Sienna Miller, and our boy Taylor Kitsch, who will always be Gambit in our hearts, no matter what Channing Tatum thinks. This looks like some solid summer counter-programming, which is what STX has become famous for over the past few years. Color us excited!

Here’s a synopsis:

“’21 Bridges’ follows an embattled NYPD detective (Chadwick Boseman), who is thrust into a citywide manhunt for a pair of cop killers after uncovering a massive and unexpected conspiracy. As the night unfolds, lines become blurred on who he is pursuing, and who is in pursuit of him. When the search intensifies, extreme measures are taken to prevent the killers from escaping Manhattan as the authorities close all 21 Bridges to prevent any entry or exit from the iconic island.”

And here’s the film’s poster:

21 Bridges hits theaters on July 12.
