Underoath and Dance Gavin Dance live in Worcester

Photo Gallery: The Grammy-nominated Tampa band was joined at The Palladium by Crown the Empire and The Plot in You

Editor’s Note: On Friday, the 2019 Grammy Award nominations were unveiled, and Underoath were nominated for Best Metal Performance. It was the Tampa post-hardcore band’s third nomination, but first for their music — previous noms included Best Boxed or Special Limited Edition Package for Lost in the Sound of Separation in 2010 and for Best Short Form Music Video for “Writing On the Walls” in 2007. The following night (Saturday, December 8), they brought their volume to to The Palladium in Worcester for the latest stop on the Erase Me tour, named after their eighth studio album that hit in April. Joining Underoath on this monster touring package are Sacramento’s Dance Gavin Dance, as well as Crown The Empire and The Plot In You. Vanyaland’s Emily Gardner was in Wormtown to capture visuals of it all, and you can scan though her full gallery, in reverse order of appearance, below.
