Another day, another trailer for a James Wan-produced horror movie that may or may not be a part of the Conjuring cinematic universe. We actually don’t have a single clue whether or not the Linda Cardinelli-starring The Curse of La Llorona is going to feature a cameo from the Warrens or Annabelle the creepy doll or that damned Nun, but we do know that we’re a little worried about a film about Mexican horror folklore that stars a white lady. We hope that director Michael Chaves can put our worries to rest (after all, he did just get hired to do Conjuring 3), and this trailer is an effective and nasty piece of work.
