Editor’s Note: As Mainland prepped to perform a sold out Middle East Upstairs last night (November 16) with The Wrecks and The Technicolors, Vanyaland’s Victoria Wasylak chatted with lead singer Jordan Topf about the band’s forthcoming debut album, fleshing out their sound, and their stirring new song and music video for “I Found God.”
After soundcheck, the trio waltzed down Massachusetts Avenue to check out the unique Central Square magic that is Area Four and Roxy’s Grilled Cheese’s A4cade, before heading back to the Mid East for the show.
