Turnt To 12: Sadie Dupuis, Michael Christmas, Lady Pills and others to perform at Boston Music Awards

As public votes continue to pile up for the 2016 Boston Music Awards, the yearly showcase of the city’s music scene is stacking the deck for their annual party. As we reported back in June, this year’s BMAs go down December 8 at the House of Blues on Lansdowne Street, and this morning, we know who will be performing live.

In total 11 nominated bands and artists will perform, including, in alphabetical order: Air Traffic Controller, The Ballroom Thieves, Bearstronaut, Contact, Kyle Bent, Lady Pills, Michael Christmas, Sadie Dupuis (of Speedy Ortiz and Sad13), Shun Ng & The Shunettes, the Hotelier, and Walter Sickert & The Army of Broken Toys.

The eleventh band/artist will be announced on October 21.

To keep the beats flowing during the night, the ’16 BMAs will also feature DJ sets by Knife and Leah V.

Listen to all the performing bands and artists via the BMAs homepage.

The December 8 awards party is an all-ages event, and is open to the public. Tickets are available here. Public voting concludes on November 20.
