Who Said It: New England Patriots QB Jimmy Garoppolo or veteran saxophonist Kenny G?

It’s a nervous day in New England.

The Patriots are set to kick off the 2016 NFL season tonight in Arizona, facing a very good Cardinals team with Super Bowl aspirations. And they’ll do so without star quarterback Tom Brady.

With our beloved QB exiled for some bullshit suspension, Patriots Nations turns its lonely eyes to young Jimmy Garoppolo, the 24-year-old fill-in and Magic Make III hopeful who will be making his first career start. And like us watching the first two Magic Mike films, things could go either way.

Last week, Jimmy G held court at Gillette Stadium in his last press conference before tonight’s kickoff, and, as is the case with most young athletes (and anyone playing for coach Bill Belichick, for that matter), he didn’t really say anything too interesting.

In fact, his quotes could be attributed to pretty much anyone.

So we took a few of Garoppolo’s lines from last week’s presser and compared them to some thoughts famed saxophonist Kenny G shared with the Chicago Tribune back in a December 2012 interview.

Can you determine who said what? Welcome to our first-ever (and likely last) installment of Who Said It: Jimmy G or Kenny G?.
