Last night we learned that Chuck D and B-Real would be fronting a new band backed by members of Rage Against The Machine, and now we have another collaboration that crosses over genre lines: Banks & Steelz, a project from Interpol’s Paul Banks and RZA of the Wu Tang Clan.
As Consequence of Sound notes, the pair revealed back in 2013 that they were collaborating on new music, with RZA describing it as “very, very different than what I do, but very unique and very peculiar.” Today we get the first taste in a jazzy, chill-af track titled “Love + War”. The song also features Wu-Tang MC Ghostface Killah.
