Scottish electro-pop trio CHVRCHES continue to prove 2013 breakout record The Bones Of What You Believe was no fluke, and are now doing so at a breathtaking pace. Not too long ago we heard their delectable synth-pop track “Get Away,” which was a part of Zane Lowe’s bold re-scoring of the Drive soundtrack for BBC Radio 1, and today we have their new single off the upcoming soundtrack for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Pt. 1.

Slashing fire-pop gem “Dead Air” might very well be the best effort off the Mockingjay comp, which was curated by Lorde and includes contributions from Kanye West, Bat for Lashes, Haim, Charli XCX, Miguel, and others.

Check it out below, and mark those calendars — The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Pt. 1 soundtrack is out November 17, with the film to follow a few days later.
