Mic’d Up: Rhys Darby returns to The Wilbur in legendary fashion

Via The Wilbur

Many a legend has made their way through the hallowed halls of The Wilbur in its time, but Rhys Darby is looking to make his return the most legendary of them all.

Bringing boatloads of energy, stories, and laughs as only he can, Darby returns to Boston for one night on Sunday (April 19) as part of his The Legend Returns tour, and while his voyage amongst the seven seas in the HBO smash hit series Our Flag Means Death ended a few years back, his experiences back on dry land since then — or at least since we last chatted with him in 2022 — have certainly warranted a new show on stage. With a handful of film roles, including two big releases in The Sheep Detectives and Jumanji: Open World, Darby has also stayed busy with a number of TV and voice acting roles including Love, Death & Robots, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds and Phineas and Ferb, among others.

Whatever the night holds, it’s sure to be whimsical and fun with Darby at the helm, so drop anchor at The Wilbur and have a blast with one of the most exciting comedians on the grind today.
