Marilyn Manson will soon be appearing in a dope show of a different kind, as the rock star has been cast in the seventh and final season of FX television series Sons of Anarchy. And now we know what he’ll look like.
According to Revolver, Manson will play a white supremacist prison shot-caller named Ron Tully, who we can only hope will be as menacing as OZ’s Vern Schillinger. In the photos, which surfaced online this week, Manson is sporting an SS tattoo and some facial hair.
“Sons has been such a big part of my life, as well as my father’s,” Manson says, according to the magazine. “So I was determined to make him proud by being involved in what will probably be remembered as the most amazing piece of television cinema. After all, the very heart of Sons of Anarchy is about that relationship. So, now all I need is a motorcycle.”
Meanwhile, Manson is dealing with the usual bullshit — an upcoming show of his in Russia is under fire from Orthodox Christian groups. “Marilyn Manson propagandizes anti-family values and a depraved lifestyle, which has a deep effect on the upbringing of the young generation and results in a feeling of not understanding modern culture in the older generation,” the activists wrote in an appeal to Novosibirsk officials, according to the Moscow Times.
