Potty Mouth, Pretty & Nice, My Dick — and no Aerosmith — highlight Boston Music Awards performer lineup

Two weeks ago the 2013 Boston Music Awards nominees caused a bit of an uproar — now let’s see if the list of performers do the same. But here’s a spoiler alert — there’s no Aerosmith on the bill December 8 at the Liberty Hotel.

Playing live at the music scene’s annual get-together in the former Charles Street Jailhouse this year will be Pretty & Nice, Potty Mouth, Grey Sky Appeal, Bearstronaut, Barrence Whitfield With Grits & Groceries, Moe Pope & Quills, Eddie Japan, Coyote Kolb, Big D & The Kids Table, You Won’t, and of course, My Dick.

For the full lineup and to vote on the nominees until December 2, go to bostonmusicawards.com.

In addition to the live sets, Bad Rabbits are spinning a DJ set in one of the side rooms, and we here at Vanyaland are curating the mix in the lobby featuring those up for DJ of the Year, including BREK.ONE, Knife, Paul Foley, and Leah V.

Soul-Le-Lu-Jah! also brings the dance party to the Liberty, and Brian Charles’ Tuesday Night Recording Club promises special guests in addition to resident Aaron Perrino.

There may or may not be a bath tub involved this year, stay tuned.
