Studio 52 is a community artist space located in the heart of Allston, and is proud to support the Boston music scene and local artist community.
In 2018, Betty Who reclaimed her rhythm. In the New Year, we’re gonna see, hear, and feel the former Bostonian emerge. The Australian musician is set to release her new album, Betty, in February, and it marks her very first as an independent artist. Finally free from a major label’s restraints, demands and expectations, Betty Who this week released a glistening new single called “Between You and Me”, and acoustic pop number that has her clearing her mind and baring her soul. “‘Between You and Me’ is one of my favorite stories I’ve ever told,” Who says in a statement published by Rolling Stone. “It’s an inner monologue that has driven me crazy many times before. It feels so good to finally have it out in the world instead of banging around my own brain.” The forthcoming Betty follows 2017 LP The Valley, her last for RCA Records (her Betty, Pt. 1 EP hit back in June, and those tracks will be included on the new album). We’re excited for this new era of Betty Who — and we know she is as well. Featured image via Facebook.
