Earlier this week everyone lost their shit over the new Captain America: Civil War trailer, mostly because a certain surprise superhero made a cameo right at the end. Well, that’s cool, because we’re over here we’re jamming out to a superhero of the rock and roll variety: the mighty Gozu.
The Boston band today dropped a teaser clip for their new single “Nature Boy”, and it’s got all the flair we need without actually getting Ric involved. The track is the first taste off Gozu’s upcoming record Revival, due June 1 on Ripple Music. The new LP is the follow-up to 2013 LP The Fury Of A Patient Man.
The teaser clip is only 27 seconds, so we’ll fill some time with the credits and other pertinent info: The “Nature Boy” video, set to drop in full sometime next week, was directed and edited by Tom Corino, with visual effects by Ben Lipiecki. Gozu’s Revival record release party goes down Friday, June 3 at the Middle East in Cambridge on a heavy-handed bill featuring Worshipper, Magic Circle, WORMWOOD, and Sylvia.
