While Dave Attell has given us plenty over the years to say “skanks for the memories,” there’s always the next show of undeniable mastery to look forward to. Well, would you know it, that next show is coming up this spring.
Per the announcement earlier this week, Attell is set to return to The Wilbur stage on May 16. With cigs in hand and disdain in his heart, the legendary stand-up is preparing to bring forth a new batch of his signature cynicism, which was last seen on a mass recorded scale in his 2024 Netflix special Hot Cross Buns. His planned return to Boston this spring will also be the first time the city has seen him in the flesh since the special was released, and a lot has happened in that time, so there’s no telling where things will land when he takes to the stage.
While Vir Das has added a fresh spot to his Wilbur stop on March 18, the summer and fall months are continuing to fill up at the legendary venue, as Ron Funches makes his way back on July 25, before Michael Blaustein returns with a new hour of his own on October 10.
Over in Somerville, Irish comedian Vittorio Angelone is making his way across the pond for at least one show in the States, with one night at Crystal Ballroom on May 14. Also, as science has dictated in the past, the reptiles come out in summer as Therapy Gecko makes his way to Arts at The Armory on August 30.
Tickets for these shows can be accessed via the Regulars pre-sale starting today (February 18) at 10 a.m. ET, before venue pre-sales can be accessed starting on Thursday (February 19) at 10 a.m. ET by using the code VANYA. General on-sale begins Friday (February 20) at 10 a.m. ET.
