Supergrass, I Should Coco | 30th Anniversary Tour, September 12
Any list of the greatest albums of 1995 is simply not complete without Supergrass‘ fiery debut record. Its title taken from cockney rhyming slang for “I should think so,” I Should Coco put the English trio on the map at the height of the Britpop era, creating a frenzy on both sides of the Atlantic through mad-fer-it singles like “Alright,” “Caught By The Fuzz,” and “Mansize Rooster.” Now the Cool Britannia misfits take the goods back to North America for a short run of 30th anniversary shows, and things wrap with a September 12 pogo party at Boston’s MGM Music Hall at Fenway. “15th May 2025 marks 30 years since I Should Coco,” says Mick Quinn in a statement. “Supergrass are thrilled to announce their return to perform the debut album live, in its entirety, for the first time. Dynamic pricing not included.” What is dynamic is the band’s legendary and sweaty live shows, and it’ll be sweet to sing the songs of our youth as we try to feel “Alright” just once more.
