We are ready for the official Chloe Moriondo glow-up of 2025. The Detroit alt-pop and indie comet has been building a cult-like following over the past few years, and now sets out on a 20-show North American tour this spring. The penultimate date is a May 21 appearance at the Paradise Rock Club in Boston. The tour news arrives the same week as Moriondo’s effervescent new single “shoreline,” a warm sonic fling that belies its lyrical themes of enduring the aftermath of a relationship gone sour. It was co-written with and produced by Chloe Kraemer (The Japanese House), and released via Public Consumption/Fueled By Ramen. Moriondo has this to say about it: “‘shoreline’ is very near and dear to my heart. It encapsulates a lot of the feelings that came from my first big breakup, and I poured a lot of myself into it. I hope it’s gently loved ♡”. We’re sure it will be. Tickets go on sale Friday (January 17) at 10 a.m. local time.
