This year’s Boston Music Awards are looking pretty sweet n’ spooky right now.
Homegrown artists Cakeswagg, Copilot, The Ghouls, Tyler Loyal, Yanna G, and Yelena Rodriguez will perform throughout the 2024 ceremony, which is set for next week at Big Night Live. The announcement arrived via social media earlier today (December 4), roughly two weeks after voting closed to the public.
There are 10 BMA nominations among the selected performers, three of which stem from the “Video of the Year” category, where Cakeswagg (pictured above), Yanna G., and Tyler Loyal will face off directly. Otherwise, the curated group of artists represents a wide sampling of the year’s most promising acts from the realms of rock, pop, hip-hop, R&B, and Latin music.
