We all know just how much Kevin Smith and Jay Mewes like to talk and tell stories, but by the looks of it, they’re going to be bringing a whole different type of lip service to the masses on their next tour.

As part of their upcoming Aural Sects tour in 2025, the longtime duo will be making their way back to the live stage under the guise of their beloved convenient store-dwelling characters Jay and Silent Bob, including one night at The Wilbur on February 2. While Smith has visited Boston a number of times over the past few years, this will mark the first time Mewes has joined his hetero life mate in Boston since they brought the Jay and Silent Bob Reboot Roadshow to town in 2019.

The Wilbur will also host a pair of live podcasts in the early innings of 2025, as Cat Cohen and Pat Regan bring Seek Treatment to Tremont Street on January 11, while Kristin Hensley and Jen Smedley go “hahd” in the paint with their upcoming IMOMSOHARD: The Flashback Tour on March 8.

Once things thaw out a bit more, former Impractical Joker Joe Gatto is slated to bring his Let’s Get Into It tour to The Wilbur on April 25, before comedian and actress Jess Hilarious returns to Boston for one night at The Wilbur on May 24.

A few stops up on the Red Line, Joe List is set to unveil a screening of Tom Dustin: Portrait of a Comedian, his upcoming documentary focusing on the life, career and hardships of the seasoned local comic and friend of List’s, at Somerville’s Crystal Ballroom on January 9.

Tickets for these shows can be accessed now via the Regulars pre-sale, before venue pre-sales can be accessed starting on Thursday (November 14) at 10 a.m. ET by using the code VANYA. Public on-sale is slated to begin on Friday (November 15) at 10 a.m. ET.
