Dropkick Murphys, St. Patricks Day Celebration, March 14 to 16
We’re about halfway to St. Patrick’s Day, which means it’s time to start planning our March festivities with the Dropkick Murphys. The Boston punk band unveiled dates and details for their 2025 St. Patrick’s Day Celebration, and it kicks off with a March to 16 swing at MGM Music Hall at Fenway before a March 17 throwdown at the House of Blues. Joining Ken Casey and the boys at MGM will be The Menzingers, Bouncing Souls, Hot Water Music, and more. And to get us worked up, the Dropkicks just unveiled a new video for “Sirens,” the first hint of a new album to arrive in ’25. Says Casey about the punchy track: “For nearly a decade, the division between red and blue, right and left, has grown deeper, darker and uglier — dividing families, and ending friendships. Nobody enjoys this more than the billionaires, who are making record profits off the blood, sweat, and tears of the working class. They love it when we fight amongst ourselves, because their biggest fear is us joining together to come after them… THE REAL ENEMY.” We’re about to run through the wall. Tickets go on sale on Friday (September 27) at 10 a.m. local time.
