Another month, another killer new heavy Boston release from Metal Blade Records. After hitting in January with news on Death Ray Vision and dropping thunder last month with Morne, the legendary label sounds the alarm today (March 22) with word of GOZU’s new album, the Boston quartet’s first in five years. It’s called Remedy, it was engineered, mixed, and mastered by Dean Baltulonis at Wild Arctic studios in Portsmouth, and it hits May 19 via Metal Blade/Blacklight Media.
To get us all worked up, GOZU have supplied new single “Tom Cruise Control,” a heavy as your debt riff-furious crusher that smooths out just as you hit the dirt floor. And GOZU sum it up nicely: “‘Tom Cruise Control’ will take you riding into the danger zone. It will take you right into the danger zone! Turn ‘n burn.”
The dudes are also headed out on a slew of spring dates across May and June, and you can digest all that info in blissful flyer form after the YouTube jump.
