May the (Ben) Schwartz be with you at The Chevalier this summer

While he’s making his way back to town on the solo tip this time, Ben Schwartz is planning on bringing some friends along to help you turn that frizzown upsidizzity.

Heading to Medford’s Chevalier Theatre on July 24 with his Ben Schwartz & Friends show, the Sonic The Hedgehog franchise star will be delivering comedy in a completely different way than he previously has, like when he last visited Boston’s Wilbur Theatre in 2018 as one half of the improv team, Middleditch & Schwartz, alongside Silicon Valley actor Thomas Middleditch. Since his last trip to the Commonwealth, Schwartz has also cultivated quite a list of acting credits including Netflix’s Space Force, Night School, M.O.D.O.K, and of course, his leading role as the fastest blue cartoon hedgehog in the galaxy.

Before Schwartz lands in Medford, though, YouTube star Ed Bassmaster (stage name of Edwin Rodriguez) is making his way to The Wilbur Theatre on June 2. With his debut appearance on the Tremont Street stage, Rodriguez brings with him the expansive character work that has catapulted his presence on YouTube, which may it may not include additional appearances by Chip Diamond, Always Teste, Girard Douche, among many others.

Pre-sales for both shows start today (March 30) at noon EDT. Use the code VANYA for access ahead of the general public on-sale, which starts on Friday (April 1) at 10 a.m. EDT.
