The whole crew’s back in the ‘Jurassic World: Dominion’ trailer

It’s no secret that we’re not the world’s biggest fans of the Jurassic World franchise around here, but even we aren’t immune to the occasional dopamine hit from nostalgia-mining on the parts of Those In Charge In Hollywood. It’s genuinely pretty nice to see all the old Jurassic Park gang back together in this nearly three-minute-long trailer for Jurassic World: Dominion, which Universal dropped earlier on Thursday morning in advance of The Big Game or whatever we’re supposed to call Super Bowl LVI in order to not get sued.

We’re hoping that NBC paid good money to get Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum to record hype videos for the Rams and Bengals, too, because we’re just getting weird chills thinking of Goldblum saying “Joe Burrow” for whatever reason.

Peep it — in Full 4K Ultra HD, no less:

Here’s a synopsis, which really wants to remind you that the whole gang is back:

“This summer, experience the epic conclusion to the Jurassic era as two generations unite for the first time. Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are joined by Oscar-winner Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum and Sam Neill in ‘Jurassic World Dominion,’ a bold, timely and breathtaking new adventure that spans the globe.

From ‘Jurassic World’ architect and director Colin Trevorrow, Dominion takes place four years after Isla Nublar has been destroyed. Dinosaurs now live — and hunt — alongside humans all over the world. This fragile balance will reshape the future and determine, once and for all, whether human beings are to remain the apex predators on a planet they now share with history’s most fearsome creatures.”

Well, how about that? We’re not gonna lie, this is a pretty interesting concept for a Jurassic Park sequel, so we’ll put aside our grievances and give Jurassic World: Dominion a shot when it hits theaters on June 10.
