We read a wild tweet last week from @HipHopNumbers about Tyler, The Creator that is certainly worth repeating: “Tyler, The Creator created history today with ‘IGOR’… He’s the first solo rapper in history to have a No. 1 album he produced and arranged by himself, no co-production or co-producer credits at all… 69 rappers have gone No. 1 on the Billboard 200. No-one has done this before.”
We pass that along because this morning the California rapper today (June 3) unveiled a fall North American tour that comes to both Agganis Arena in Boston (September 10) and Glendale’s Gila River Arena (October 20). Openers include Jaden Smith, Blood Orange, and GoldLink.
