As if his name wasn’t already a gift from the universe, Sam Tallent has been so good at comedy for so long, that his return to the city this weekend is sure to be a worthy homecoming — which is wild, considering he isn’t even from New England.
It’s a triple decker for the ages as Tallent makes his way back to the city for three shows starting on Friday (March 13) at Laugh Boston. As a consistent killer on stage with his telltale streak of absurdist approach, tethered to a deeply crafted love of the game, the accomplished comic and author just doesn’t miss. Although he’s brought laughs to a booming roar all over the country, and releasing his most recent special The Toad’s Morale in 2024, Tallent also continues to expand his reach with his Chubby Behemoth podcast, and his 2020 novel Running The Light, which will see an official re-publishing via Random House this spring.
There is plenty of shenanigans happening around Boston this weekend, but the true pot o’ gold will be found in The Seaport at Laugh Boston. Mark our words.
SAM TALLENT :: Friday, March 13 to Sunday, March 15 at Laugh Boston, 425 Summer St. in Boston, MA :: Times vary, $38.40 :: Advance tickets
