Fest Intentions: Levitate Music & Arts Festival 2026 with Alanis, Caamp

You oughta know… that the 2026 Levitate Music & Arts Festival lineup just dropped. Alanis Morissette and Caamp will headline the 14th annual event, which is scheduled for July 18 and 19 at the Marshfield Fairgrounds.

Tapping a ’90s rock powerhouse like Morissette (pictured above) to lead the first day of this year’s festivities — as well as incorporating Aussie pop-rock duo Royel Otis — demonstrates a bit of a shift for the South Shore event, which usually heavily skews towards roots, folk, reggae, ska, and Americana. Other standout acts on the lineup include reggae royalty Ziggy Marley, jazz and funk favorites Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, and Georgia roots-rock sisters Larkin Poe.

New Englanders, of course, comprise a hearty chunk of the lineup. Boston reggae-pop band the Elovaters, “Vermonter living in New Orleans” Hans Williams, and Sammy Rae & the Friends — helmed by the Connecticut-born Rae — will return to the Marshfield fest this year after previous appearances. Boston folk-pop songwriter Bebe Stockwell will also make her Levitate debut this July, following a set at Boston Calling last May.

The Levitate Foundation’s Songwriter Stage, which launched last year, will once again highlight a handful of “unsigned and emerging” acts. (Hans Williams, in fact, was one of last year’s Songwriter Stage performers).

“Last year’s Songwriter’s Stage was such a hit — it was amazing to see fans gather around and experience deserving emerging artists, the same artists just might become headliners one day,” says Daniel Hassett, founder of Levitate. “Even better than that, was the Levitate Foundation getting to work with these musicians and be a resource, both financially and personally, to help them reach their goals and record their next album. This year, we’re excited to bring this same concept to the visual arts, setting the stage to bring the work from little-known emerging artists to a huge ‘gallery opening’ concept for tens of thousands.”

Early bird tickets are on sale now; single day GA passes are $139 ($349 for VIP), while two-day GA passes are $249 ($579 for VIP). Parking passes, camping reservations, and low-cost kids tickets are also available.
