Levitate is skipping sweater weather and reaching straight for their flannel. The South Shore lifestyle brand has unveiled the 2022 lineup for its third annual Flannel Jam, the traveling fall mini-fest that follows summer’s Levitate Music & Arts Festival.

This autumn’s edition visits three New England cities over the span of one weekend, following the pattern established by prior years. The 2022 Flannel Jam begins at the Marshfield Fairgrounds on Saturday, October 8, moves to Maine Craft Distilling in Portland on Sunday, October 9, and wraps up at Cisco Brewing in Nantucket on Monday, October 10.

All three stops share the same headliners — Greensky Bluegrass, Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway, and Midnight North — but the undercard shifts each day to spotlight artists local to the area. The Whiskey Treaty Roadshow, Aldous Collins & The Like Minded Folk, and Blacktop Strut take the will stage in Marshfield, while Southen Maine acts King Kyote and Silver Heels will perform in Portland, and Buckle & Shake will rep their hometown of Nantucket.

The flavors of fall will also rotate at each destination; in addition to caramel apples and fresh apple cider donuts, treats on tap at Flannel Jam include hot spiked cider and cocktails from local breweries and distilleries. (Here’s hoping your flannel has a can-sized pocket — and if it doesn’t, you can snag a Levitate-brand button up in advance).

“With a down-to-earth, homegrown feel and amazing bands, food, fall festivities, and foliage, it’s a dream to bring Levitate on the road through our favorite towns in New England,” says Dan Hassett, owner of Levitate. “Each of the Flannel Jam headliners brings a unique, fluid perspective to their music. If you think you aren’t into bluegrass, I think you’ll be surprised.”

Tickets to individual shows are available here, or you can grab a $149 tour pass that grants guests access to all three dates. Check out all the details in the flyer below.
