Editor’s Note: As the temps begin to rise and the flowers begin to blossom, the top-tier selection of comedy shows to check out around Boston are also in full bloom as homegrown talent, national headliners, and open mics galore highlight the calendar. Live entertainment continues to make its way back into our social lives — mask up! stay safe! — and so we always want to make sure you know about cool stuff going on in the world of comedy. Enter Mic’d Up, our ongoing weekly series that details the best live comedy shows to consider as you head out and about. Below find our rundown for this week, through Sunday (July 3).

Corey Rodrigues at Boston Bowl

Admittedly, we’re not super “in the know” on many snappy bowling puns, but make no mistake, that doesn’t mean Corey Rodrigues taking the stage at one of the newer comedy spots around isn’t a total strike. So don’t be a turkey – if you have some spare cash, and can hang at a show for more than a split second, this should be that show as Rodrigues continues to ascend in his comedy game.

Wednesday, June 29 at Boston Bowl, 820 Morrissey Blvd. in Dorchester, MA :: 7 p.m. :: Tickets are $22

Sean Sullivan at Sterling Street Brewery

Even in a sea of absolute comedy killers coming out of the local scene, Sean Sullivan remains in the upper echelon of the game, and you’ll be able to see how and why as the song and dance man closes out the month with his dynamic and unbeatably relatable comedy on tap.

Thursday, June 30 at Sterling Street Brewery, 175 Sterling St. in Clinton, MA :: 8 p.m. :: Tickets are $15

Randy Feltface at Laugh Boston

The face of purple privilege returns to the area for another run of shows, and while it’s never truly predictable in terms of what he has to say will not only be at times outrageous, thought-provoking, and delightfully blunt, but also heartfelt and original.

Thursday, June 30 to Saturday, July 2 at Laugh Boston, 425 Summer St. in Boston, MA :: Thursday at 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday at 7:30 and 9:45 p.m. :: Tickets are $25 to $29
