Cate Le Bon finds style through a warped lens on ‘Remembering Me’

We’re not sure what has us more enraptured: Cate Le Bon’s hypnotic new single “Remembering Me,” or its colorful art-house video, directed by Giraffe Studios (Juliana and Nicola Giraffe) and outfitted by Monica Adriana Rowlands. It’s all got a Bowie-meets-St. Vincent vibe to it, and the beautifully warped tune will be featured on Le Bon’s forthcoming album Pompeii, which hits February 4 via Mexican Summer. “‘Remembering Me’ is a neurotic diary entry that questions notions of legacy and warped sentimentalism in the desperate need to self-mythologize,” says the Welsh musician and producer in a press release. That pretty much sums it up; but who needs words when it’s our eyes and ears doing the talking?
