Editor’s Note: With society’s gradual re-opening and our overall return to normalcy, there has been a deluge of tour announcements. Band in the USA keeps you updated on the shows you need to know about, and just who might be soon coming to town.

There are a lot of things we need in 2022, and quite frankly, a good fucking time is right up near the top of the list. Luckily, The Darkness understood the assignment, and will take their November album Motorheart out on a 34-date North American blitz early next year. Things light up March 9 in San Diego, and after vertically zig-zagging the county for what’s some pretty stellar routing, wrap it up with an April 24 gig at Royale here in Boston. Tickets go on sale this Monday (December 13) at 10 a.m. local time via thedarknesslive.com/tour-dates

Stuff that in your stocking.

“You there, in the Americas — hear me, and hear me well: The Darkness know your pain, know that you have cried yourselves to sleep every night, bereft of quality English rock music,” says Justin Hawkins. “Well, desist from weeping and pull up your fully grown adult pants — salvation is upon you! As doctors, we UNDERSTAND the healing power of rock music and we have instructed our minions to make arrangements for us to visit your moderately distant shores. The cryogenically sealed Tupperware box of roadies has been set to ‘Thor’ and the mighty winged chariot has been dusted off. Remember — one lick of Darkness sweat and you will be cured — you will literally walk again, without Covid or anything! But what price freedom and eternal life, I hear you ask? To you sir, about 30 bucks (plus local taxes and booking fee). Now get the fuck in!”

We probably have to point out that The Darkness live show experience won’t cure any of us from the virus, but when you believe in a thing called love, anything seems possible. Get all the dates after the jump.
