Back on November 8, the British singer/songwriter and artist released her second studio album, Magdalene, her first since 2014, and it felt like one of the more exclusive and entitled events of the year. On Tuesday night (November 19), FKA twigs brought her Magdalene Tour to Boston, making a stop at The House of Blues for one of the more visually-stunning performances we’ve seen on Lansdowne Street in quite some time. Vanyaland’s Emily Gardner was in the room capturing visuals — just before a fire alarm went off, sending attendees into the cold night for a brief interruption — and you can scan through her full gallery of the early part of FKA twigs’ set below.
