Photo Gallery: Dermot Kennedy and Talos live in Boston

People with the last name Kennedy are traditionally pretty popular in the City of Boston, and though he bares no relation to anyone in the iconic political family, Irish singer songwriter Dermot Kennedy wasn’t about to break tradition. Tickets for the British chart-topper’s House of Blues show in Boston sold out months ago, and with only a few hours 'til showtime on Sunday re-sale ticket prices were more than $140 just to get in the door. Kennedy’s love-love relationship with Boston dates back to 2011, when he spent the summer living in the city while busking in locations such as Copley Square and Boston Common. His latest return to town comes in support of his major label debut album, Without Fear, out now via Interscope. Last night (October 20), Kennedy enthralled a capacity crowd with songs from the new record, as well as a few older tunes, including the song “Boston,” which he penned about his time here. Scroll through the gallery below to see images from the night’s action, including some from the night's opener, Talos.
