Big Thief have a big agenda for 2019. Following the release of their June album U.F.O.F., the band has already shared details on their next record, titled Two Hands, due out October 11 via 4AD. The LP’s first single “Not” also arrived today (August 13), another folk romp from the Brooklyn balladeers.
“Two Hands has the songs that I’m the most proud of; I can imagine myself singing them when I’m old,” singer Adrianne Lenker commented in a statement. “Musically and lyrically, you can’t break it down much further than this. It’s already bare-bones.”
