Rock Ya Sox Off: Fenway Rooftop Sessions unveils 2019 lineup

Sideways Media

This year’s summer concert slate at Fenway Park — Phish, Zac Brown Band, The Who, and Billy Joel, oh my — leaves a bit to be desired. But the big-ticket events aren’t the only live music offerings at the home of the Red Sox this season, as the Fenway Rooftop Sessions are back for another year of local attraction.

This season’s Fenway Rooftop Sessions lineup features seven pre-game and pre-party performances in the stadium’s Vineyard Vines Club, kicking off with singer-songwriter Todd Thibaud on June 9, and wrapping with heralded folk collective Session Americana, with Ali McGuirk, on September 8.

Along the way, SuperSmashBroz (June 22), Will Dailey (July 28), Carissa Johnson (August 17) and more will take part as the Red Sox defend their World Series title. All the dates look enticing, but there might be something important on the line when Session Americana and McGuirk perform before the Red Sox take on the Yankees that Sunday night in September.

All tickets purchased to the pre-game concert pre-game party will include a game ticket for the Red Sox game that day. Peep the full lineup below, with the Red Sox opponent in parentheses.
