State Champs, Our Last Night, The Dangerous Summer, Grayscale live in Boston

Photo Gallery: The Albany pop-punk band pulled into their 'second home' on Saturday (March 9) to play The House of Blues

Editor’s Note: We imagine this conversation was overheard somewhere on Lansdowne Street on Saturday night (March 9). “Hey is the band playing House of Blues any good?” … “Of course, they’re the fucking State Champs!” And so the emotive pop-punk band from Albany pulled into town over the weekend for a sold-out twirl in a city they consider “second home”, the latest stop on their “Living Proof” tour. This run borrows the name from State Champs’ third album, released in 2018, and joining the dudes were New Hampshire’s Our Last Night, The Dangerous Summer out of Maryland, and Philadelphia’s Grayscale. Emily Gardner was inside The House of Blues capturing visuals of each performance, dodging crowdsurfers and other fits of human intensity to deliver a full-fledged photo gallery, and you can view her work, in order of appearance, below.
