DMA’s are back with ‘Time & Money’ and the roadways & rooftops to prove it

It seems like only yesterday, but we first got hip to DMA’s nearly four years ago, when the Australian rock band played Boston Calling’s May 2015 edition and proceeded to crash our Center Of It All day party across Cambridge Street in that weird government building. The dudes brought their own flair and vibe with them, and in a flash, they were gone. Fast forward to this past April, and DMA’s crashed the party of playlists from Somerville to Sydney with their sophomore album For Now, another smartened blast of British indie-inspired rock and roll led by mad-fer-it single “Break Me”. Now the trio is dipping into that complex album once more, giving the video treatment to standout track “Time & Money.” The band published the Tristan Jalleh-directed clip to social media this week, telling very little about the video or its inspirations. Turns out we’ll just have to gaze at the trippy visuals of roadways and rooftops and attach our own moods to it. Kinda like they did back at Boston Calling. Featured image via screengrab.
